About the Composer
Stanford (Stan) Felix
I'm a composer, producer, singer, and pianist based in Farmington, Minnesota. I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree, have taught on several university music faculties, and spent decades performing opera, musical theatre, jazz and rock.
Today my focus is sync. I write and produce original songs and cues across soundtrack, trailer, funk, country and other styles. My catalog of 100+ tracks is organized in DISCO with full metadata — BPM, key, mood tags, ISRC codes, and licensing terms — ready for fast pitching and clearance.
I worked as a second engineer in a New York City production studio, so I handle production end-to-end: writing, arranging, recording, mixing, and delivering broadcast-quality files. Every track is built to land in a brief and clear in a day.
My music is released under Karastan Productions and published by Perfect Pitch Press. I'm an ASCAP member (IPI# 1267435830) with international rights managed through Songtrust.
